An A2 card I made for my niece. I used the cricut "Create A Critter" cart - jellyfish cut at 3.23"h, then for the waves I used cricut "Plantin Schoolbook" cut 3 at 1"h, then I used cricut "Everyday Paperdolls" cut 3 at 1.47"h then I used D'vine swirls. The jellyfish is on an action wobble..ha ha ha its SO CUTE!!
The sentiments were done on the Silhouette. This card is just ADORABLE!!! My niece is going to love it!!
Oh, did I mention she's going to Hawaii for her birthday...ALOHA!!!!

Birthday card
Uhhh.....I've moved my crafts into another room and it's a DISASTER ZONE!!!! but I realized I missed someone's birthday....aaaahhhh!!!! So I had to literally dig stuff out and clear a space and make a card.
I used the cricut Animal Kingdom for the skunk and the grass is from Plantin Schoolbook and I used the silhouette for the tags and sentiments.

MINI ROSE BUSH - no watering required
DONE!!! I made this for my Mom for Mothers Day. GEEZ!!! I didn't think it would take so long.....but I'm satisfied with the outcome....note to self.....make the roses a little bit bigger and use brighter red paper...
I don't know how many roses I made...I cut 40 petals..some are one layer(bud) 2 layer(bud) 3-4 layer roses, then I tried to give each rose 1-2 leaves.
I followed this video-link below- I cut the petals from the George and Basic Shapes cart, single leaf from Plantin Schoolbook 1" cut two(front/back) and the double leaf from Gypsy Wanderings 1.25" cut two and the starfish from A Childs Year cut 1" . I inked all the edges on everything then took my McGills embossing tools and embossed the petals till they were soft and I scored down the center of all the leaves.
The flower pot I got from the Silhouette store...I cut it apart so I could emboss it then made tabs to glue it back together..LOL
I used 22 gauge floral wire for the rose stems and 30 gauge for the leaves. To assemble I twisted 3-4 roses together then covered everything with floral tape.

Birthday cards
A couple of Birthday cards I made using Everyday Paperdolls. The sentiments were done on the Silhouette.
The first card - Cheerleader was cut at 4"h and I tied pink twine in her hair. The 8 on her outfit was cut from Plantin Schoolbook at .64"h. The pompoms I cut 3 times decreasing each layer 3/4" and I colored them with pink markers.
The dump truck was cut at 2"h and I cut two of those in different blues and cut them apart and added liquid pearls in silver for the bottom of the truck and I used Distressed Stripes embossing folder for the bed of the truck and inked it. The 67 was cut from Cursive 101 at 1.59"h and the yrs was also cut from Cursive 101 at .72"h and welded together. The road I cut 2 one in black and one in white and I took the white dashes out and put them in the black. Theres a piece of vellum in the window and on my gypsy I sized some circles for the tires and cut those in black.

Another Birthday card...do you see a trend?...LOL!
Since my favorite sellers of cricut carts don't exist anymore (Oh my Crafts and proudparents on ebay) and PC hasn't updated their library and theres problems w/updates...I haven't bought I new cart or updated anything since last summer... I'm very PROUD of myself!!! My NEW TREND is called "Getting to know the carts you already have" ROTFLOL!!! heres a card I made for my niece.
Supplies:
All Sports cart- swimmer on front @ 5.08"h, I used vellum for the goggles and peachy keen face stamp. isn't it CUTE!! the sentiments were done with the silhouette. Inside of card the diver is cut @ 5.45"h the face is so little I drew it on by hand...LOL the waves are from Plantin Schoolbook @ 1.47"h
Using All Sports cart reminds me of the newspaper comic strip "Love is...." except I say "Birthdays are like..." LOL....I like this cart..I have quite a few cute sentiments planned....the only thing is some of the layers are way to small for a standard card...GEEZ PC what were you thinking?? not all of us do LO!

SAVE THE DATE

Here is a "pull tag" I made for someone at work she needed something within a week. I made 20 of them. She LOVES IT!!!!!! I'm very proud of myself. This is the first for "business" project I've done. I must say.....it was kind of fun making something for $$....LOL!!! Her wedding colors are black and gold.
supplies:
gypsy
carts-Sweetheart, George & Basic Shapes, Plantin Schoolbook
cardstock: black, white and gold
Dazzling Diamods glitter from SU
Sentiment was done on the computer
the envelope is from the sweetheart cart, I didn't like the V cut in it so I welded a square to cover it. I used the double rings and welded 3 "prongs" (retangles) to one of the rings then sized the diamond down to fit and hid the partial ring. I applied glue to the diamond and sprinkled dazzling diamonds. BOY!! does it SPARKLE!! The letters are from Plantin Schoolbook
The tag is also from Sweethearts. I welded the Bride and Groom to rectangles and put the sentiment in the middle that was done on the computer. Added gold ribbon along the top.
Like I said, she wanted 20 of them......hummmmmm....how do I present them......so I made two bags from Plantin Schoolbook and put 10 cards in each one. GORGEOUS isn't it???
Despite the crunch time...it was fun especially since I got PAID!!!! I LOVE the $$ but I'm NOT for hire very often...ROTFLOL!!! This is my hobby not my business!!!!

Last year my niece got married and I just had to make her this card. It's HILARIOUS!!!!
supplies; carts-Sweethearts (car) George & Basic Shapes (oval shape)Cursive 101(outside sentiment/numbers)Plantin Schoolbook (scallop square)<
Chomas Creations gel pen holder/green pen/red pen, vellum, SU cardstock-White,Sage Shadow,
Chocolate Chip(wedding colors) and Black. The sentiment on the inside was done on the computer.
I know your thinking....WHAT???
I live about 600 miles from my niece, I knew my old car wouldn't make it that far. I couldn't fly because I wanted to visit "The Container Store" and get some more shelving units for my crafts(shipping is expensive!)....you can't fit those in a suitcase....LOL!! PLUS I had to shop ALL the SUPER CRAFT Storess...ss. I couldn't miss this important day....I mean opportunity.....ROTFLOL!!!! So I bought a new SUV.......long story short...the wedding/family gathering/SHOPPING FOR CRAFTS was SUPER FANTASTIC!!!! See...the card is funny!!! Especially since the family is still debating....did I go for the wedding or the CRAFTS......hhhmmmmm I'll never tell....

Decided to make some cards to send to family.
supplies:
SU cardstock;lovely lilac, summer sun, regal rose and glossy white
LSS; beige, black, metalic silver cardstock and vellum
Chomas Creations; black mini marker and embossing kit
I cut the pencil (smiley cart) @ 3.39h. notice on the yellow part of the pencil I took my stylus and scored lines to give it ridges like a real pencil and hi-lighted it with ink. I didn't care for the black band below the eraser so I cut a strip of silver metal cardstock instead. The wording on front the letters are from plantin schoolbook @ .75h and I used the chomas creations black mini marker on glossy white cardstock.
I wanted to do something different inside. So GLAD I did, I LOVE EMBOSSING!!!! Chomas Creations Embossing kit is the GREATEST!!!! OH MY!!!! Embossing is going to be my new thing!!! I LOVE IT!!!
the letters are from plantin schoolbook @ .50h and I put a 3.75 x 3.75 frame around it so I would know where to cut but I liked the embossed frame so I took my trimmer and trimmed around the frame. the spiral design in the corners are from Don Juan and I put those there to hide the glue dots. Neat idea huh? I like the play on words too.

Couldn't "CONTAIN" myself
clic on pic to enlarge
ROTFLOL!!! I LOVE containers!!! I'm addicted to them!!!
So several weeks ago...I thought to myself...What containers do I have???
I looked thru all my carts and cut each one out and this is what I have so far......
Tags, Bags, Boxes and More(17)
All Wrapped Up(10)-Imagine cart.
Imagine More Cards(4)-Imagine cart
Best Friends(1)-Imagine cart
Handyman(1)
Spring Holiday Cards(4)-I cut just the boxes
Plantin Schoolbook(4)
Yummy(1)-Imagine cart
Buccaneer(1)-Imagine cart
Lifes a Party(10)
I LOVE this COFFIN!! LOL I got the paper design from the Buccaneer cart-I'm using this for Halloween!!!
Wrap it Up(50)- I HATE these containers!!! you don't get the layers so your containers look incomplete!! YUCK!!! someone on the cricut board suggested that you use the layers for the card then shrink it down to fit your container(you would need a gypsy or DS to do this). These are the main containers, out of the 50...these are the 3 I will use and try to do the above. Don't get me wrong, this cart is SUPER for cards!!! but for containers its not worth it!!!in the photo below you can see some of the containers from this cart..I didn't make them all...I was getting to upset how unfinished they were looking.
Did you ADD it all up??? theres 103 containers...ROTFLOL!!!!
Out of all those I'm only going to be using 96 of them...the others were either repeats or I didn't care for it
Now I will put all these keepers in a bigger container and when I need a container...I can "see" what I have a choice of.....Pretty Smart HUH!!!!! Want to do this too.....heres a tip!!! After I cut each piece I wrote the: cart, page#, key# and size. That way when I decide what container I want to make I can see where I got it from....
HELP ME!!! I have enough containers RIGHT? NOT....I want Tie the Knot and Sweet Tooth.....aaaaarrrrrgghhh.......
