This scarf is made with the Starbella Flirt-Moscow
I used 4 pegs and every other loop. I LOVE how it turned out...its seems to ruffle more than the other one and since I used 4 pegs instead of 6 its longer too. Yes, the stitching shows but I like it...it adds interest to the scarf.

Ruffle Flirt scarf
OK, tried something new.
Thanks to "ScottieMom" on the Cricut MB for introducing me to this new yarn.
here's the link http://createdbylenore.blogspot.com/2013/09/flirt-scarf.html
She made a GORGEOUS scarf, so naturally I had to try.....HA HA!!!
I made mine like all my other ruffled scarfs (small rectangular loom 6-pegs and every other loop).
PRETTY huh??
clic on pic to enlarge
The yarn is "STARBELLA FLIRT" and this scarf color is Black Spot
its not as long as the others, its a little bit thinner and not as heavy. It really ruffles BEAUTIFULLY!! I can't wait to make some more....HA HA I don't like repeating gifts but this Christmas all the women in the family got a ruffled scarf (RedHeart Boutique Sashay)...but this "Flirt" is so pretty and it is different I think I might repeat this for next year.....and theres lots of colors too
THANKS ScottieMom for INSPIRING ME!!!!!

Boa scarf
This is a regular scarf using the Boa yarn -color: Raven. I used a single strand, I think I used 18 pegs and used the flat e-wrap. I originally made this for my 10 yr old nephew (Christmas) but kinda got carried away and made it too long...LOL...I used 3/4 of a skein but realized it was too long so the 1st one will go to my oldest son and then I made another one a little shorter using the rest of the first skein and about 1/4 of another. The 1st scarf is about 8"wide and 36"long and the 2nd scarf is 8"wide and 32"long. it's hard to measure cause it's so stretchy and SUPER SOFT!!!

For a regular scarf I like the single strand, this Boa yarn is a #5 which is considered bulky so it'll be plenty warm.

Hooded Scarf
I'm LOVE'N that Boa yarn. Heres a Royal Blue hooded scarf. Just like the pink one. I used 2 skeins as one and flat e-wrapped 22 pegs. Then folded in half and stitched down 10" for the hood.

OK, I'm working on a boa scarf single strand...it's just going to be a scarf, so I'll let you know how the single strand comes out.

Hooded Scarf
Some of the females in the family are under 10 yrs of age and I decided they wouldn't like a ruffled scarf, so I'm making them a hooded scarf with Bernat Boa yarn - color Chick
OH MY GOSH!!!! I don't think I'll every go back to regular yarn when making scarves....this Boa is SUPER SOFT!!! I LOVE IT!!!! I used two skeins together (2 as one) and used 22 pegs, flat - e-wrapped. Folded the scarf in half and sewed the seam from top - down 10". ALL the children in the family will be getting a Boa scarf (different colors of course) - females hooded scarf and males regular scarf. Then I'm going to make ME a hooded scarf and a regular scarf...HA HA HA!!!
FYI - for a regular scarf I don't think I will double it, I'd just use 1 skein.
I'm working on another hooded scarf, when thats done then I'll make a regular scarf.
This Boa yarn is so fuzzy theres no front or back......WARNING!!!! because this Boa yarn is so fuzzy if you drop a stitch you'll have to start all over......at least for me, I couldn't find the stitch the yarn is too fuzzy. It happened to me twice...but the e-wrap is so quick it doesn't take long to get this project done.

Ruffled Scarfs
I'm taking a little break from paper crafting..GASP!! I know but I'm having fun making these ruffled scarfs.
The first two I did on my knifty knitter(small pink oblong one) and they are GORGEOUS!!
I used the RED HEART BOUTIQUE SASHAY yarn - LOVE this yarn!!! the third one I used STARBELLA premier yarn...YUCK!!!! its too big of a weave and looked ugly so I took it off the knitter and did the "no crochet" and its still ugly. If you look closely the blue one doesn't ruffle very nicely yuck yuck yuck...I will not use that yarn anymore.(no crochet takes 1-2 days to make)
The first scarf is Sashay: SALSA (oranges, reds, purples)VERY PRETTY, the next one is Sashay: SHUFFLE (browns, beiges, white) GORGEOUS!!!
I'm making these as Christmas gifts...LOL..they don't take very long to make. I work on them a few hours a night and a scarf takes about 5 days....So my Christmas will be done EARLY this year...ROTFLOL!! I got the Sashay yarn at Wal-Mart.
Heres the tutorial- I did 6 pegs and every other hole on the yarn (ruffles look prettier). I followed her first tutorial (I did not pearl)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8PCnCIXL8E
heres some written directions for the different knify knitter looms

Yeah, I know...Mothers Day is coming up and I haven't started on anything----tomorrow...... I'm having a blast with these scarfs...I have to go to Wal-Mart and find some more colors....Bye
UPDATE - LOL- I forgot to tell you...on another video to make it easier to knit they started on the outside of the ball (not the center) which is much easier and opened up the yarn and wrapped it around a paper towel tube.....ROTFLOL!!! I didn't have an empty one so I wrapped it around the paper towel...LOL and yes, its much faster and easier to knit!!! it still gets twisted but its easier to untwist it.
Thats the Sashay BOOGIE (shades of purple..very pretty!!) This is my last skein...PANIC!!! need to get MORE!!

Santa Hat
clic on pic to enlarge
HO HO HO!!! I made a Santa hat!!!! Using the KNIFTY KNITTER long looms. I used the purple long loom with the clips. White and Red yarn and white fun fur. With two strands(as one) of white yarn casted on 50 pegs and ewrapped 8 rows (your working in the round since your using the clips). I then cut one of the white strands and added two strands of the fun fur in it's place. So with one strand of white yarn and two strands of fun fur ewrap around another 8 rows. Then form your brim. After the brim is done leave a 6" tail and add two strands(as one) of red yarn and ewrap around 30 rows, now you'll start decreasing one from each end on odd rows. So you'll decrease then ewrap to the other end and decrease and ewrap back to the beginning. Then on even rows you'll ewrap around. You'll do this for 74 rows, you should have 6 stitches left. Leaving about a 10" tail cut your yarn and add your needle, finish off like you would a beenie. I'm AWFUL with directions...SORRY! I hope you understand. To fluff up the fun fur carefully glide your pick back and forth over the fun fur stitches several times, then go up and down over the stitches...repeat until desired fluffiness.
The pom pom- I cut a piece of cardboard 2" wide and 5" long and wrapped the fun fur around the 2" part 100 times...CAREFULLY slide it off and with a 18" piece of white yarn carefully slide it under the fun fur about the center and tie a double knot TIGHT!! DO NOT CUT THE LOOPS!! carefully spread out your loops and with your pick carefully rake along the loops not to snag them and fluff your pompom. The fluffiness will hide the loops.

knitting
I discovered a new interest...Knitting....The "Knifty Knitter" round looms are FUN!!! EASY to knit too...Heres a few projects I've done!! On ALL the projects I doubled the thread.
The knifty knitter comes with 4 looms- the yellow one is missing(I'm working on a project) and the blue one is missing my son is working on a project.
OH! DID I MENTION I'M LEFT HANDED!! I had NO PROBLEMS!!! This knitting is FUN & EASY!!
first hat with green loom(a little snug)
2nd hat with yellow loom(perfect fit!)
I then went to this link and made this
http://www.provocraft.com/projects/projects.php?prdindex=kniftyknitter&dsp=project&idnum=35
Hooded scarf...LOVE IT!!!!
I found the flower loom and made these.
I made these booties from this link, except I didn't fold it up to form a band. I just kept going then folded it over when I was done. These are SUPER EASY!! their shaped like tube socks.
http://www.provocraft.com/projects/projects.php?prdindex=kniftyknitter&dsp=project&idnum=8
These booties I made up myself. I casted on the pegs on the flower loom as if working on a flat piece. I pearled a row then working back I knitted a row. I think they call this the GARTER stitch. I did this for 35 rows then closed it up like the booties above.
I did the headband from the flower loom too. I wrapped 4 pegs and working back and forth. I knitted a row and pearled a row till it was 12" long then sewed the ends together. Made a flower from the loom and sewed it over the seam.
The baby booties and headband are for a co-worker. I'm going to present them to her like this....
It's one of those paint cans you can get at your LSS. I lined it with paper and the baby is from the Everyday Paperdolls cart. and the lettering is from Gypsy font.
