4th July card

Here's my 4th July card. The card came from the Silhouette store. When I saw this I thought it was ADORABLE!!! So different than the "standard A2".  WARNING! theres A LOT OF LAYERS!!!
After doing the front, I was exhausted and went for a simple print n cut for the inside. Which is also from the silhouette store. I know the inside looks dull....but I'm tired of this card and I wanted it DONE!!
Oh, the boots and the trim on the hat were double heat embossed(looks like patent leather-SHINY!LOL). The circles on the boots and hat and the trim on the suit were heat embossed with gold.
LOVE how the card came out!!!my family/friends are gonna LOVE IT!!

Well my card needed a special envelope. So I went to HL and found some paper and using
"Kreate-a-lope" I was able to make an envelope for it. I was upset that the envelope maker didn't make this size. Luckily from the good ol' days when QVC had crafts I got the "kreate-a-lope. Its a KEEPER NOW! I was going to give it away since I had the envelope maker. LOVE the envelope!! So PATRIOTIC!
The card uses an office size envelope, I could of used a plain white one but how unpatriotic would that have been??? LOL its the 4th July!!!

Anniversary card

Anniversary card I made for my brother.
Its OK, I forgot to chalk the edges of the tags, I forgot to emboss the card. HA HA
I guess this is what I call my "thought was in it but I forgot" card. HA HA HA
I'm going to have to start making a check list of things to do when making a card...my memory isn't what it used to be.....
its hard to see but I glittered the numbers. That I remembered!

Yes, I checked my math....theres 7 leap years. (365 x 29 = 10,585 + 7 = 10,592)  At least I hope I added correctly????

Fathers Day card

My dad passed away 4 yrs ago, so I make fathers day cards for my brother and ex-father in law.
I used the cricut cart. Everyday Paper Dolls and the silhouette for all the sentiments. PLUS! I added embellishments: sequins. Cards look so much better with embellishments!!!

Embellishment drawer

Here's my embellishment drawer. Its the 2dr Recollections cube (it came with the dividers).
LOVE IT!!!!! It's organized by color and I have sequins, diy buttons, diy colored brads and diy enamel dots. It may look almost full... HA! theres 6 sections per drawer and I still have another drawer, so.....
each color will get its own section...Plenty of room to add MORE embellishments.
The drawer unit is to the right of where I sit to craft (used to be my stencil drawer but I moved my stencils). Now when I need a little something, I just open the drawer and see all my choices....
Opps..HA HA looking at the picture, the colors are backwards. I'll have to fix that! I have OCD when it comes to my crafts!!! HA HA HA
