Its an ornament/tag/ money holder.....
For me its an ornament/money holder..LOL... I made 6 of these for my little nieces/nephews
I used Doodle Charms for the Santa cut @ 4.65h and used Plantin Schoolbook for the names @ .50h and used Chomas Creations red mini marker. Red ribbon for the hanger. Oh I used chalk for the skin tone and the nose and 1/4" punch for the eyes.

FINALLY DONE!!! While everyone else is working on Christmas cards, I finally finished my Thanksgiving cards. WOW!! time consuming but worth it! I LOVE the "feathers" on my turkey...LOL

Last card for awhile...LOL
This is for my cousin. Typical teen ALWAYS on the phone.....LOL
front of card - I used the Imagine cart Better Together (girl 3"), cricut carts George and Basic Shapes for the font (.30) and Smiley Cards cart for the word bubble (3.20 x .91h). Chomas Creations purple gel pen/holder for the saying.

The inside I used Cursive 101 cart- font (.35) welded and Chomas Creations pink gel pen/holder. George & Basic Shapes for the "17" on the candle (.44h) and the purple gel pen. Smiley Cards cart for the cupcake (1.92h). MS glitter red and gold for the flame. Gypsy wanderings for the music notes (.37h) . I know!! I should of put the "17" on the cupcake and not the candle...oh well.

The envelope from Plantin Schoolbook (9.88w x 5.25h) PERFECT for A2 cards (4.25w x 5.50h) got the paper at HL.

OK! I think I'm caught up for awhile....ROTFLOL!!! I just need to work on a Thank You card and Thanksgiving cards and some more B-day cards.....I guess I'm NOT caught up...back to the craftroom I go.......

Last year my niece got married and I just had to make her this card. It's HILARIOUS!!!!

I know your thinking....WHAT???
I live about 600 miles from my niece, I knew my old car wouldn't make it that far. I couldn't fly because I wanted to visit "The Container Store" and get some more shelving units for my crafts(shipping is expensive!)....you can't fit those in a suitcase....LOL!! PLUS I had to shop ALL the SUPER CRAFT Storess...ss. I couldn't miss this important day....I mean opportunity.....ROTFLOL!!!! So I bought a new SUV.......long story short...the wedding/family gathering/SHOPPING FOR CRAFTS was SUPER FANTASTIC!!!! See...the card is funny!!! Especially since the family is still debating....did I go for the wedding or the CRAFTS......hhhmmmmm I'll never tell....

A flip/swing card I did for my SU rep.. She is the BESTEST of the BEST!!!!
supplies:
SU cs - summer sun, glossy white and Not so Seriously stamp set
Chomas Creations glitter gel pens
MS purple glitter
rhinestones
color pencils

 For the front of the card before cutting it, I did a mock pattern on my gypsy to figure out where I wanted the statement. The card front I used the purple gel glitter pen and cut my card as shown in the tutorial....oops! the gel pen on a dark yellow doesn't come out purple..it's a wierd color so I covered it with glitter..LOL then I took the woman from the stamp set and stamped her on the front and colored her with pencils.
On the flip side I used my gypsy to write the sentiment and used the glitter gel pen and added some bling along the sides.
These cards are fun and easy to make.

My nephews b-day is coming up so I made him a card.
supplies:
SU- cs night of navy, dimentionals
Chomas Creations - embosser kit
Imagine cart- Buccaneer, All Wrapped Up

I thought it looked a little plain, so I embossed his name on top and age on the bottom. It's hard to see the cardstock is too thick to emboss but it shows up. Oh, I used dimentionals behind the pirate.

on the inside I pop dotted the treasure chest w/dimensionals so I could put some $.

Then for the coordinated envelope I followed this tutorial, but I substituted Buccaneer for Lori's Garden.

THANK YOU KATIE!!! now my envies will go with my cards.

Decided to make some cards to send to family.
supplies:
SU cardstock;lovely lilac,summer sun, regal rose and glossy white
LSS; beige,black, metalic silver cardstock and vellum
Chomas Creations; black mini marker and embossing kit
            
I cut the pencil (smiley cart) @ 3.39h. notice on the yellow part of the pencil I took my stylus and scored lines to give it ridges like a real pencil and hi-lighted it with ink. I didn't care for the black band below the eraser so I cut a strip of silver metal cardstock instead. The wording on front the letters are from plantin schoolbook @ .75h and I used the chomas creations black mini marker on glossy white cardstock.
I wanted to do something different inside. So GLAD I did, I LOVE EMBOSSING!!!! Chomas Creations Embossing kit is the GREATEST!!!! OH MY!!!! Embossing is going to be my new thing!!! I LOVE IT!!!
the letters are from plantin schoolbook @ .50h and I put a 3.75 x 3.75 frame around it so I would know where to cut but I liked the embossed frame so I took my trimmer and trimmed around the frame. the spiral design in the corners are from Don Juan and I put those there to hide the glue dots. Neat idea huh? I like the play on words too.

Long story short....I'm having some health issues and haven't been able to work for several weeks and I'm going to be out for several more weeks........So I made this card and will send it to my co-workers...

Eeyore was cut at 4.46h, Piglet was cut at 4.91h the letters on front were drawn at .56h and inside at .61-.75h
I LOVE that EVERYTHING was done with the expression/gypsy!!! Thanks to Chomas Creations pens/markers I no longer have to go to the computer to print the sentiment. Isn't that COOL!!!!

GORGEOUS beyond belief

ROTFLOL!!!! I amaze myself sometimes..... I'm VERY creative..
As you know I designed an octagon box....How many of you thought this was pretty? NOT!!!!!

The lid was a little snug, so I enlarged it a tad and came up with this....the design is from the Ornamental Iron cart and I used Chomas Creations MICRO mini marker and SU glossy white cs. Isn't it PRETTY!!! I think I might add rhinestones to the sides of the lid and maybe the center.

BUT WAIT!!!!!!
Thats pretty.... lets take it further........
NOW this is what I'm talking about.....GORGEOUS beyond belief!!!!!!

I recut the box with SU glossy white cs and then went back with the Micro mini marker and drew my design.
Isn't it GORGEOUS??!!!! Oh, I had to make a new lid too.

I'm speechless!! I can't believe I created something so GORGEOUS!!!! I wonder how the glitter pens would look??? or maybe emboss it???? WOWZA!!!! OK, I'm done....

PART 2-Stampin Up GLOSSY white cardstock(WARNING-if you use the cricut markers DON"T DO ANYTHING for a few seconds till the ink has time to dry, it will smear-this was a do-over cause I didn't wait)
I changed the font (I had to try out my new cart "Cursive 101"  LOL)

VELLUM-it has a greenish tint( I have white cardstock behind it)

NOW!!! TA DA!!! DRUM ROLL........

STANDING OVATION!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this EMBOSSER!!!!!!!

I KNOW!!! Isn't that the COOLEST NEATEST EMBOSSER!!!! I only traced(cut) it once!!! I put blue cardstock behind it so you could see it, the EMBOSSING on the vellum that is.....ROTFLOL!!

New creative Inspirations to play with!!!!!

OH! I'm so EXCITED!!! I got some new toys to play with the cricut and they are so COOL!!!!!
From Chomas Creations I ordered the: mini gel pen holder, gel pens, glitter gel pens, mini sharpie marker holder, micro sharpie marker holder and the embosser kit. While I was at the office supply store getting some mini markers.....Guess what I saw??? mini highlighters!!!! YES, they fit into the mini marker holder, its hard to see on the example but its BRIGHT and they come in different colors too!!!! LOL
This is a piece of cardstock I was playing on, Amy clearly states the markers are for glossy surfaces and next week I'll try them on vellum along with the embosser.....so stay tuned. The letters are : 1", 1/2"  and 1/4"......
I LOVE how CLEARLY the gel pen writes!!!
