Birthday card

Birthday card I made for my niece. I think it came out really CUTE!!!
The honeycomb card is from the silhouette store. I made the bee from the cricut -Create a Critter cart.
I cut off the wings from the main body and cut the extra wings out of vellum ( I welded a narrow rectangle to the wings to glue behind the bee and bent the wings to give dimension). I used foam dots behind the bee.
The lettering and sentiment I did on the Silhouette also.

Thanksgiving cards

Finally finished my Thanksgiving cards. I used the cricut cart: Stretch your Imagination (turkey cut @ 5.25),embossed the background with a decorative tile folder and made the tags with the silhouette. The card is 9.12"h x 8"w (scored at 4" - 4"w)
This was my original idea......

clic on pics to enlarge

it was OK, couldn't decide between the dark or the light brown. It needed more though????
THINK.....THINK...THINK............
SO.......I took the "guts" (extra cuts) and switched them......YES, I like this better!!!! I also have two different colored backgrounds (only because I didn't have enough of the other color..ha ha)

Now for the inside.....urgh......I've got to practice on dressing that up....I was really stumped.
I made my own buttons (to match the front of the card) and its OK but I don't like it. I used vellum for my sentiment. I don't even like my sentiment. At first I thought it was kind of cute but after reading it a thousand times.... Nope... I  should of come up with something else. Oh, well....next time.

its 2 weeks till Thanksgiving and at least my cards are DONE, I need to make a few Birthday cards.....but I'm working on a  VERY CREATIVE  project I really want to get done so I can share it with you all.....it is SO CREATIVELY CLEVER!!!! suspense...........and No, its not my craftroom....after rearranging it....I liked the look of the set up...but after crafting...Nope, I had to move some things .....which lead to moving more things and now I don't have time to finish....maybe AFTER the holidays..........

Anniversary card

What a BLAST!!!!! I sort of lost my crafting MOJO but I'm finally getting back into the creative mode.
I made this A2 card for my nieces anniversary. I used the cricut Car Decals for the couple (man @ 1.87"h and lady @ 1.82"h) and 4mm goggley eyes. I used the emboss folder Heart Blocks with a circular diffuser (That was FUN, first time I used them). The word - Happy Couple - is from A Childs Year at 1"h. The inside was done on the silhouette.

I know I know what about my craft room??? its coming.........soon..........LOL!!! just bare with me....PLEASE!!!
When you rearrange a craft room you like how it LOOKS!!!  but........will it work??? I'm having to tweak a few things now that I'm crafting.

Birthday card

Card for my nephew. Thought it came out kinda CUTE!!!
The card is 9"h x 7.75"w (fold in half 9"h x 3.88"w) it fits a legal envelope.
I used the cricut Create a Critter cart and when glueing all the layers I was not paying attention and put glue all over the light green layer...the glue was exposed....AAKKK!!!! Whats a crafter to do????
When in doubt FLOCK IT!!!! HA HA HA....I added light green flock...LOVE IT!!! I embossed the top layer with cuttlebug Tiny Mosaics. For the words and sentiments I used the silhouette and I added my own diy star buttons. The reason I made this size card is because I'll be putting cash inside and I won't have to fold it. Now everything will stay flat and no bulk. EASY MAILING!
