Withdrawals

HA HA HA....I'm going through craft withdrawals...My family says 'I'm hard to live with"...Well Yeah, I can't craft!!!!! ha ha ha and theres still at least 2 more weeks of construction and then we still have to put everything back and then I still have to get my craftroom back in order...I don't think I'm going to make it......

I want to CRAFT!!!!

This is driving me crazy... I WANT TO CRAFT!!!!!!!!!!! but I can't because my craftroom is a storage room/bedroom for another 3 weeks..... I can't stand this!!!! I want to cry.... When you can't craft because family/work get in the way thats one thing but when you can't craft at all its very depressing..................St Patricks day has come and gone and I made nothing...now Easter is here and theres NOTHING!!!!!  WHOA IS ME!!!! such a depressing time!!!! all this repair/remodel is taking longer than planned. I am so sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoa is me!!!!

I'm so upset, I can't think straight....... I have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the other side of the house. Long story short....The drain pipe in the shower broke! I have to clear out the 2 bedrooms so they can jack hammer through the foundation to replace the pipe.AAAAGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!! Since all this has to be done, I'm going to remodel the bathroom and have ALL the plumbing/pipes replaced (its a very old house and the pipes/plumbing are very old). So my almost finished craft room will now become a bedroom/storage room for about a month.... HA HA HA HA HA HA   Yes, I'm so upset ...you have to laugh......No crafting and I'll try and leave a path to the computer but  no promises....If I survive the chaos I'll be back in a month.

EXPLORE.....time

I DID IT!!!! I DID IT!!!!!!
I got the Cricut Explore the week of "Black Friday" at JoAnns and of course you get two free weeks to play with it. So I played and YES! its a KEEPER!!! then thats about it... I really wanted to finish up rearranging/organizing my craftroom. I've made some great progress in my craftroom....but the Explore keeps staring at me saying "COME EXPLORE...." but I couldn't because I didn't have my cartridges linked.
Well, I couldn't stand it anymore....3 days ago I downloaded the cricut sync and cricut craftroom because my cartridges are linked to my gypsy and I have to "uplink" them to the craftroom so I can play with them on the Explore. When I went to "uplink" them it ran for about 6 hours...aaagghh....forget it, I turned everything off. Then yesterday I tried again and a window popped up " set instance unavailable" I clicked ok and it continued running........after an hour I turned everything off again.   aaaggghhh....I'm obviously doing something wrong!!! I knew I couldn't do this MYSELF!(I always ask my son) but I was determined to do it myself!!! Today - I deleted the sync and craftroom and started all over. TA - DA!!!!! it all "uplinked within 5 mins!!!! shut everything down.. opened Design Space and YES-YES-YES !!!! ALL my cartridges are there I can EXPLORE!!!! and I did it ALL BY MYSELF!!!!!!! ha ha ha......OK OK I'll organize a lot and Explore a little....ha ha ha ha.....I think thats the other way around...

Craftroom...

I know, it seems like I've been rearranging/organizing my craftroom forever...I have...LOL....but here's a sneak peek at what I've accomplished so far.
I call this the "cube wall". I don't have all the drawers organized or labeled yet...I'm working on it..
All my cardstock/paper is on the bottom and that is labeled and organized by color or theme.

on the cart is my Cricut Explore - I can pull it over to the computer when I'm ready to craft. I haven't used the Imagine (2nd shelf) much,  I decided to leave it on the cart and start using it for background papers, since the Explore can't do that.
I haven't been to a craft store in months, I'm TRYING to use what I have and I'm tired of my Imagine collecting dust along with some of my other crafting supplies.
SO! use it or loose it(get rid of it)
I don't want to "hold on" to stuff anymore!!!
Once I have all the drawers organized and labeled I post pics of the drawers.
So what do you think of my room so far????

Valentines cards

OK OK I LIED!!!! my craftroom is NOT done but I had to make Valentines cards.
I found the heart in the Silhouette store. Don't you just love the sheer ribbon? it's so pretty!! I have lots of ribbon...I need to start using it. It makes the card look so pretty!

Speaking of craftrooms.......I'm glad I broke my rule and crafted.....I don't like how its set up/organized...I have to rearrange some furniture and redo some organizing....

Hobby Lobby coming to the 'hood

YAHOO!!!! YIPPIE!!!!!
OK, calm down.....I basically live in the center of town as far as Hobby Lobby is concerned. There's two stores: one on the eastside about 35 mins away and one on the westside about 30 mins away...but NOW a NEW HOBBY LOBBY is moving in just down the street.. about 8 minutes away.!!!!! Yes, that's right..8 mins away!!!!!!! I'm SUPER DUPER EXCITED!!!!! Oh, I LOVE HOBBY LOBBY!!!!!!! The excitement is killing me.....I don't know when they'll OPEN!!!! ha ha ha ha.........
